About the Church of Christ in Stratford

We are a community of Christians seeking to follow Jesus Christ and live by the teaching of the Bible. As a church of Christ, we believe the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and our guide for faith, worship, and daily living. We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and in the good news of salvation by God’s grace through faith in Christ.

Our worship is simple and focused on God, including acapella singing, prayer, giving, Bible teaching, partaking of the Lord's supper weekly, and fellowship together. We believe baptism is a personal response of faith for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. We strive to allow the Bible to speak into our lives as we encourage one another to grow in faith and love.

We recognize that everyone is at a different place in their spiritual journey. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or have followed Christ for many years, you are welcome here. Our desire is to walk alongside one another with humility, compassion, and truth as we grow together toward God.

We are committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus, serving people of all ages, and creating a church family where everyone can belong. We would love for you to join us at our meeting place in Stratford and learn more about the hope and peace found in Christ.
